The ceremony started with a statement delivered by Mrs. Arian Almas from the UNDP followed by that of the President of the AUB Dr. Fadlo Khuri who stated that the project started in 2010 when Health Ministry and the UNDP submitted a request for the development of the best cancer treatment guidelines according to international specifications and standards.
