إعتبر نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الصحة غسان حاصباني أن منسوب المحاصصة مرتفع نسبياً اكثر من الشراكة في لبنان، و"القوات اللبنانية" تعمل لتحقيق الشراكة الحقيقية بين كل الأطراف والتي يجب ان تبنى على رؤية استراتيجية وتخطيط واوراق عمل لرسم السياسات العامة، فلسنا امام ازمة نظام بل امام نتائج التزعزع في روح "الشراكة" ويجب الا يتأثر العمل التنفيذي بالاختلاف السياسي، المطلوب الشراكة لا المحاصصة. وحذّر من أن ملف النفايات وصل الى ذروته بيئياً وصحياً فإذا لم نعمل بشراكة حقيقية وتعاون لن نستطيع حل هذا الملف...

Deputy Prime Minister Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani called the cabinet to give priority to the matters related to Health Ministry, noting that the funds to buy drugs should be reconsidered since the Ministry’s budget has only increased by 2 percent over the last ten years, while the demand is exceeding 20% yearly. Hasbani stated that the Ministry has asked the government to allocate more funds last July to cover the required drugs, but they weren’t provided on the grounds of insufficient funds, while the healthcare matters can’t wait. Health Minister urged as well the cabinet to discuss and implement the Ministry’s Universal health Coverage.

Hasbani greeted in the VIP lounge at Rafik Hariri airport the Lebanese mathematicians who participated in the UCMAS competition held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and competed against students from 72 states, where 12 Lebanese contestants ranked high.

The Ministry of Public Health announces that it will start to apply the 2D Data Matrix on pharmaceutical products, given the importance of this project in the development of the health system, by tracking the medicines, and combatting counterfeiting in order to ensure the safe provision of medicines to patients...
