MoPH:No Shortage of Drugs for Cancer and Incurable Diseases; they are Constantly Being Delivered in Quarantine

The Information Office of Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani issued the following statement:

Some misleading and inaccurate news reports have been issued claiming a shortage of drugs for incurable diseases, in particular cancer drugs in MoPH Drug center- Quarantine. The Ministry of Public health confirms that there is no shortage of such drugs, as they are being constantly delivered. Delays in the delivery of some kinds of drugs for a few days happen from time to time and are due to the demand and availability of these drugs to suppliers.

The Ministry of Public Health reminds the citizens that it has taken many actions to control drug distribution through medical protocols for the rational prescription and the delivery of drugs in Quarantine on demand to avoid waste or overstocking.
